The Bonzer Shack in KDH is our gracious host this year. You’re one click closer to sand bar jewelry, gift certificates, good eats, great places to spend the weekend, amazing art, Outer Banks experiences, merch, and more. It’s never too early to shop for Christmas. Just saying.
The auction is set up at the Bonzer Shack in KDH, but bidding is done online through our auction portal so bring your phone and your sense of philanthropy.
If you can’t make it out, you can bid from home and pick up your items at Jennette’s Pier on July 24 between 1:30pm-4:30pm.

Before you start bidding, you need to know…

We can’t thank you enough for supporting Surfing for Autism through the silent auction! We hope you can understand, because we’re a volunteer organization, our folks have other professional responsibilities and are not able to make deliveries or arrange pickup of items outside of (1) the Bonzer Shack the night of the auction or (2) July 24 between 1:30pm-4:30pm at Jennette’s Pier. Thank you for your understanding and support.
…but I’ve still got questions.
The auction is not a living organism so it will never technically be alive but bidding will begin on Saturday, June 13 at 5:00pm ET.
We don’t allow pets or plants to participate so you must be a person to bid. BIDDING IS DONE ONLINE THROUGH OUR AUCTION PORTAL so you can bid at home or bid on site at the Bonzer Shack, either way, you’re bidding through the portal.
Regardless of where you are when you bid, if you win, you must pick up your items the night of the auction OR July 24 between 1:30pm-4:30pm at Jennette’s Pier.
Even though most items in the auction are light, we recommend you pick up items from underneath and with both hands. Items MUST be picked up at the Bozer Shack the night of the auction OR July 24 between 1:30pm-4:30pm at Jennette’s Pier. Due to volunteer availability, we can’t arrange pickup or delivery outside of those times.
If you get hungry, we’ve got you covered. The Bonzer Shack will be open for business and serving food off a full menu. They also have a bar if you’d like to grab a drink while you wait to win. Tell them you’re there for the Surfing for Autism silent auction and you’ll get a free high five from Jay.
It’s not you. Technology hates everyone it doesn’t understand. It simply means you’re a complex person with a multifaceted personality that mesmerizes some and bewilders others. Come by the Bonzer Shack during auction hours and we can help you out.
Don’t feel bad. It happens to all of us. When you remember your question, jot it down or leave yourself a not on your phone so you can ask us at the auction. If you come to the auction and still can’t remember your question, let Jay know – he can give you answers.
